Larkhall Community Friends –  Liz Armour, Community Development Worker, in conjunction with Larkhall Community Network is hoping to introduce a Befriending Project called Larkhall Community Friends. They are looking for anyone who would be interested in becoming a Befriender. The Befriending volunteers at Community Friends will meet at Costa initially for coffee and a chat and will only offer companionship and meet for a coffee and a blether, they will not go into people’s homes. The service is about getting people out of the homes and finding out what their interests are and getting them using activities and services provided in the community. This would help reduce loneliness and isolation for people in the Larkhall Community.  If you know someone who lives in Larkhall who may not get out of the house and needs a befriender, please feel free to contact Liz with their name and number who will contact them. Thank you for your time and support if you need any more information, please feel free to contact Liz on Tel: 07510 593949.
