                          Intimations for Sunday 18th March

McWhirter Home : This afternoon it is St Machan’s turn to take the service at the home and this will start at 3p.m. Alastair would be very grateful for your support to help with the singing and to share in a short time of fellowship with the residents after the service. 

Men’s Club : The next meeting of the Bowling Club will take place tomorrow, Monday 19th March at the usual time of 1.30.m. A warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation and friends to come along and enjoy an afternoon of  fun and fellowship.

Trinity Guild : An invitation is extended to the ladies of St Machans Guild. Trinity Church Guild is having an open evening on Monday 19th March when Joyce’s Voices from Hamilton will entertain. Tickets £2 are available at the door.

Guild : The Guild will meet this coming Tuesday, 20th March at the usual time of 7.30p.m.The meeting will include the AGM followed by a Daffodil Tea and a visit from The Machan Trust.

Also  on Saturday 24th March 2018 The Guild will hold their annual Book Sale and Coffee morning.   They would greatly appreciate home baking donations. Thank you.Pat Testing : Our annual PAT testing will take place on Tuesday 27th March. Any organisation with items at home should ensure that they are identified and left in the office by Sunday 25th March.

Easter Services :

25th March - Palm Sunday Morning, 11a.m. – Family service St Machan’s

29th March – Maunday Thursday Communion, 7.30p.m. – St Machan’s

30th March - Good Friday, 12 noon – Easter Silent Witness in St Machan’s Church grounds.

30th March – Good Friday, 7.30p.m. – Good Friday Reflection - Baptist Church.

1st April – Easter Sunday, 11a.m. – A Scottish Passion. St Machan’s

Braehead House : is holding a series of daily services During Holy Week, starting on Palm Sunday, 25th March at 3p.m. Then from Monday 26th – Friday 30th, there will be daily services beginning at Noon. On Easter Saturday, 31st at 7p.m. there will be an Easter Vigil, and on Easter Day 1st April, there is a sunrise service at 6.30a.m. and an afternoon service at 3p.m.
