Intimations for Sunday 26th August
USB Sticks : Would Elders who deliver USB stick to members please check their boxes in the Guild Room as there are several previous weeks’ sticks still to be delivered. It is important that we keep the USB sticks circulating to enable the service to be downloaded and made available to those in our Congregation unable to attend on a Sunday.
McWhirter Home : St Machan’s are taking the service at McWhirter Home this afternoon, Sunday 26th August at 3p.m. Alastair would appreciate your support to help with the singing and to share a short time of fellowship with the residents after Worship.
Dalserf Church Open Day : This is being held on Saturday 1st September from 11.30a.m. – 3p.m. Tea, coffee, home baking and the usual stalls will be available. A warm invitation is extended to all.
Holy Communion : Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday 2nd September. Elders duty rotas are now available from boxes in the Guild Room. Should you have a duty and be unable to fulfil it, please arrange a substitute.
Elder’s Training : After morning Worship on the 2nd September, there will be an afternoon training course for Elders in the hall. Elders should bring a packed lunch. Tea will be provided and the training will commence at 2p.m sharp.
Vision Prayer Breakfast : the next Prayer Breakfast will be held on Saturday morning, 15th September. Breakfast will be served from 9.30a.m. and this will be followed by a time of prayer from 10a.m. A very warm invitation is extended to everyone to share in this time of prayer.
