                      Intimations for Sunday 25th March

Men’s Club : The final meeting of the session, the AGM, will take place on Monday 26th March, beginning at the earlier time of 1.30p.m. Following the AGM there will be a social with guest speaker, Tom Sorbie giving a talk on “Andora”. A warm welcome is extended to all men of the congregation and friends to share in this time of fellowship.

Pat Testing : Our annual PAT testing will take place on Tuesday 27th March. Any organisation with items at home should ensure that they are identified and left in the office by Sunday 25th March.

Friendship Circle : The final meeting of the session will be the AGM on Tuesday 27th March at the usual time of 2.00p.m. in the hall.  Entertainment will be provided by The Jolly Beggars. A warm invitation is extended to all ladies of the congregation and friends.

Easter Services :

25th March - Palm Sunday Morning, 11a.m. – Family service St Machan’s

29th March – Maunday Thursday Communion, 7.30p.m. – St Machan’s

30th March - Good Friday, 12 noon – Easter Silent Witness in St Machan’s Church grounds.

30th March – Good Friday, 7.30p.m. – Good Friday Reflection - Baptist Church.

1st April – Easter Sunday, 11a.m. – A Scottish Passion. St Machan’s

 

Braehead House : is holding a series of daily services During Holy Week, starting on Palm Sunday, 25th March at 3p.m. Then from Monday 26th – Friday 30th, there will be daily services beginning at Noon. On Easter Saturday, 31st at 7p.m. there will be an Easter Vigil, and on Easter Day 1st April, there is a sunrise service at 6.30a.m. and an afternoon service at 3p.m.

Passion Play : Members from several Hamilton Churches are joining together and are performing “Resurrection” – a play telling the story of the final week of Jesus’ life through drama. It is being held on Saturday 31st March at 2p.m. at the bottom cross, on Castle Street (near Asda) in Hamilton. There is no charge and is open to the whole community. Please do go along and experience

 

Praise in the Park : Hamilton Presbytery are holding a “Praise in the Park” event on Saturday 14th April from 1p.m – 5p.m. in Strathclyde Park beside the water sports centre. This will include music, a reflective space, Messy Church taster sessions, displays and information.
