INTIMATIONS 18thSEPTEMBER
Prayerful Reflection: As a mark of respect following the death of our Queen, St Machan’s Church will be open on Sundayafternoon 18th September for prayerful reflection from 2-4p.m. A book of Condolence for our late Queen is available on the table at the foot of the Chancel for anyone wishing to sign it either after Morning Worship or between 2 and 4p.m.
Monday 19th September: Also as a mark of respect for the funeral of the late Queen, the Church and halls of Larkhall New will be closed tomorrow and so the next session of Indoor Bowls will not meet tomorrow but will resume again next Monday.
Wednesday 21st September: The Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service will meet this coming Wednesday 14th September. All will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15 a.m.
Worship Service – 11.00 a.m.
Thursday 22nd September: The Kirk Session are called to meet on Thursday 22nd September at 7.00p.m. in the Session house of St Machan’s.
Sunday 25th September : Morning Worship will be held in St Machan’s at the usual time of 11a.m.
Shoebox Appeal 2022: The Christmas Shoebox Appeal -2022 has been launched and this year are appealing especially for Ukraine. I don’t yet have a date for the uplift of the boxes but it is usually around the end of October. Larkhall New will again be participating in the appeal and I know finances are going to be stretched for everyone but if you are able to perhaps spread the cost over the next 2 months and pick up a couple of things when out shopping I am confident we can still give our usual generous support for this very worthwhile appeal.
