INTIMATIONS 23rd OCTOBER
Monday 24th October: The Men’s Club will meet tomorrow, Monday 24th October at 2.00.m. in St Machan’s Church Hall. Steve Cork will speak on the subject of “Models”. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation and friends to come along and enjoy an interesting afternoon with some good fellowship.
Tuesday 25th October: The Friendship Circle will meet on Tuesday 25th October at 1.30p.m. in St Machan’s Church Hall when the guest speaker is Rev Alastair McKillop. A very warm welcome is extended to all.
Wednesday 26th October: The Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service will meet this coming Wednesday 14th September. All will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15 a.m.
Worship Service – 11.00 a.m.
Sunday 30th October: Morning Worship will be held in St Machan’s at the usual time of 11a.m.
Wrap Up Lanarkshire – Rotary Clubs across Lanarkshire and indeed the whole of the UK are collecting donations of good quality coats and heavy jackets, which they will pass on to homeless shelters, refugee centres, organisations supporting the elderly, women’s refuges, children’s centres and other related charities helping people in crisis. A box is available at the rear of the Church for any donations received. Please note that only coats and heavy jackets should be donated. The last day for making any donations is Sunday 30th October.
Shoebox Appeal 2022: The uplift date for the Shoeboxes from our area is Friday 28th October. If anyone still has a box to fill it can be handed in during the coming week and left in the hall when it is open but by Thursday 27th at the latest. All cash donations should be left in the plate on the table beside the boxes. Thank you to all who have, once again, so generously supported this very worthwhile venture.
