Sunday 20th August: Morning Worship will be held in St Machan’s Church at the usual time of 11a.m.
Sunday 20th August: September Magazine – Last day for all contributions for the September Magazine which should be given to Fay.
Wednesday 23rd August : The Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service will resume on Wednesday 23rd August in St Machan’s. A warm invitation is extended to all.
Prayer Service – 10.15 a.m.
Worship Service – 11.00 a.m.
Saturday 2nd September : Church family fun night on Saturday 2nd September in the church hall from 7 to 9pm.
The theme is on the TV programme …Who wants to be a Millionaire….. guaranteed your cheeks will be sore with laughing…..This would be a great opportunity to ask your family and friends to come along for a good social night….kids welcome.
Genesis – Help Wanted : Genesis Youth Club is in need of a volunteer who will have an interest
in working with energetic young people from the age of 10 to 15, who can be quite lively.
Previous experience would be beneficial though not essential. Its more important that you are enthusiastic. For more information or to put your name forward please contact:-

The Church Invitation Leaflets:- There are still a few streets to be delivered to in the Birkenshaw area. Anyone who can help with delivery can you please uplift the leaflets from the small hall after the service and sign off on the street list. Thanks to all who have helped thus far.
Talking Jesus :
One in three non-Christians after a conversation with a Christian want to know more about Jesus.
Conversations with Christians are one of the most important influences in bringing people to faith. This course will inspire you to share your faith and will give you practical suggestions to help you to be natural and relevant as you talk about Jesus.
There are five encouraging, video-based sessions with short films and inspirational real-life examples from people who are talking Jesus.
You are invited to attend our Talking Jesus Course that will run for 5 weeks starting on Wednesday 23rd August from 7.00pm till 8.30pm and held in St Machans Church.
It would be good if you could attend and you get a cup of tea.
