Birkenshaw Ladies Guild : A Community One Stop Shop and back to school clothing drive is being organised by Birkenshaw Ladies Guild, supported by South Lanarkshire’s Strutherhill & Birkenshaw Development Worker, Liz Armour, on 28th, 29th and 30th July from 10a.m. – 3p.m. in Trinity Church. They are looking for donations of school uniforms which are still in a good using condition or new for all schools in Larkhall or generic uniform items, new underwear, toiletries and stationary. These can be dropped off beforehand at various locations in the town as follows:-
Universal Connections –
Monday – Friday (except Tuesdays) 10am till 8pm
Tuesday – 10am till 5pm, Saturday – 10am till 2pm
Geeza Bit (Birkenshaw Industrial Estate) – Monday-Tuesday 7am till 10pm
Wednesday – Friday 7am till 4pm

Kilbride Hospice : The Community Fundraiser for Kilbride Hospice is holding a Multi-Faith Information Day with the aim of spreading awareness of the work the Hospice does for the community and so share the mission of the Hospice to as many members of the public as possible.
A presentation, a cup of tea and a chat with some of the Hospice staff has been arranged for 2nd August at 10a.m. The information day will be held in the Hospice which is on the grounds of Hairmyres Hospital. Due to Covid restrictions places must be pre booked. There are 2 spaces left for this date.
