Bible Study
A three session Bible Study will run in St Machans Church starting on Wednesday 2nd October, 7.00 till 8.30pm, where we will be focusing on Heaven.
What the Bible says about Heaven………. What we think about Heaven ……Who goes to Heaven?
If you are interested and would like to learn more then please come along to the three sessions or speak with Graham Duncan. The sessions will be informal and relaxed, with everyone encouraged to ask questions and put their point of view or just listen. (You will also get a cup of tea)
Who wants to be a Millionaire.
Due to popular demand, we will be holding a Who wants to be a Millionaire social evening on Saturday 5th October starting at 7.00pm to be held in St Machans Church Hall.
For those who attended our last evening we had great family fun, with a bit of competition however, we did not manage to reach the Million-pound question.
It would be good if you could put this in your diary and invite your friends to come with you. It is for all ages. Please bring your own snacks and there will be Tea, Coffee and juice during the commercial break.
Songs of Praise service.
Our songs of praise service will be held in our St Machans building at our Sunday morning service on 6th October. All will have a chance to vote for your favourite hymns and we will sing the top 10 hymns at our service. It is great to worship through song and another great opportunity to invite family and friends to a service.
How do you vote…. write your top 3 favourite hymns on the form at the resource centre and put it into the information box or text your 3 hymns to 07889007427 or email your top 3 Hymns to grahamduncan85@gmail.com
Shoebox Appeal 2024:
The Christmas Shoebox Appeal -2024 has been launched. I don’t yet have a date for the uplift of the boxes but it is likely to be the last Sunday of October. Larkhall New will again be participating in the appeal. I know finances are going to be stretched for everyone this winter but if you are able to perhaps spread the cost over the next 2 months and pick up a couple of things when out shopping I am confident we can still give our usual generous support for this very worthwhile appeal.
The usual information leaflets are at the exit doors. Please do pick up one on your way out. Thank you.
