INTIMATIONS 2nd FEBRUARY
Monday 3rd February:
• Book Club - will meet on at 10.30a.m. in Larkhall Library. The book being discussed this month is Miss Garnets Angel by Sally Vickers. A warm invitation is extended to any book lovers to join us for some lively discussions.
• Men’s Club - Indoor Bowls will be held at the usual time of 1.30p.m. in the hall of Larkhall New, St Machan’s building. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Tuesday 4th February :
• The Guild will meet at 1.30p.m. in the hall of Larkhall New - St Machan’s building when they will hear about this year’s Guild Project – Operation Hope, Egypt. A warm invitation is extended to all.
• Snowdrop Bereavement Support Group is starting a new group at 7.30p.m. in The Lighthouse in Church St., Larkhall. Please see Lorraine McKillop for more information or to book your place, you will be very welcome. It has made a difference to others, and I am sure it could help you too. It is a relaxed and friendly meeting, and you are not put under any pressure. There are leaflets in the Resource Centre at the rear of the Church. Please pick up one if you are interested or pass it on to someone you think might benefit from the group.
Wednesday 5th February :
• The Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall in St Machan’s. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.
Worship service – 11a.m.
• Praise and Prayer evening at 58 Hamilton Street. We start at 7pm with tea/coffee and a blether followed by praise, with Nan on the piano, and then a time of prayer. Home time is 8.30. You are welcome to join us. If you wish to know more give Jim or Nan a ring on 885815.
Thursday 6th February :
Alpha Course will meet from 7.00 till 8.30p.m. in St Machans Church building.
The sessions cover the basics of the Christian Faith in a simple and straight forward way using videos hosted by Nicky Gumbel, the writer of the Alpha course, who is a very good and engaging speaker. If you are searching for some answers, I would encourage you to consider being part of the next course and if you are interested, please contact me to discuss or put your name on the list at the resource centre or church notice board in St Machans or Chalmers.

Sunday 9th February 2025 : Morning Worship will be held in Larkhall New – Chalmers building – at the usual time of 11a.m.
