                              Intimations for 9th December 

Men’s Club Indoor Bowls: The next session of indoor bowls is tomorrow, Monday 10th December at 1.30 in the hall. A warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun, friendship and fellowship.

Men’s Club:  The Men’s club are reminded the Christmas meal is at the Maltings tomorrow evening, Monday 10th December. The time is 7pm for 7:30pm.

Christian Aid - Hand-made cards are now on sale at the back of the church with all proceeds going to Christian Aid.

St Andrews Hospice Retiral Collection : The retiral collection we held on Sunday 25th November, totalled £310.00 and a cheque has now been sent to the Hospice. Many thanks to everyone for the wonderful response to the appeal.

Friendship Circle : The next meeting of the Friendship Circle will be on Tuesday 11th December at 1pm. In the Hall.  The Salvation Army will be the guests for the afternoon.  An invitation is extended to all members of the congregation to join us for a light lunch and afterwards to sing Carols and listen to excellent seasonal music.  To help us with the catering, and if you would like to come along, please speak to Fiona Sandeman after the service this morning or call her on 07928819908 by Monday morning at the latest.  We would love to see you there.

Parker Place :  St Machan’s is hosting a Christmas  Carol sing-a-long night at Parker Place  on Wednesday 12th. December at 7.30pm. Nan Richardson and members of the praise band will be leading the music. Anyone wishing to attend will be most welcome

Dalserf Parish Guild : A Christmas Sing-A-Long is being held in Rorison Church on Wednesday 12th December at 7.15p.m., and is being led by Kenny Mason & Friends.

Cost is £5.00 and can be paid at the door. A warm invitation is extended to everyone.

Larkhall Academy Christmas Concert : Once again the Academy are holding their Christmas Concert in St Machan’s on Thursday 13th December at 7.30p.m. Over the years, this has become a firm favourite at St Machan’s and each year the children of the Academy music department go from strength to strength. Please come along and support our local High School and enjoy a superb evening of music and song.

Flower Rota : A little reminder that a blank rota sheet for the first 6 months of 2019 is now on the Notice Board in the Guild Room, where the flowers are arranged. Many thanks to those who have already filled in their name against a number of the Sundays. However, there are still quite a few blank spaces and your help is needed. If you are able to take a turn then please fill your name on the rota against the Sunday/s of your choice stating your preference as to supplying, delivering or both.
