Are You a Church Member ?
You may be fairly new to Larkhall New Parish Church or you may have been attending worship for some time. If you are not a church member the Session would like you to consider joining our Church. There are already a few folks wanting to join and if you would like to find out more then please contact Graham Duncan on 07889007427 or any of the Mission Committee members. An Information evening will be organised for all who are interested to find out more about church membership......... You can also put your name and details in the Introduction box and contact will be made with you.

Carol Service : The Lanarkshire Free Masons are hosting a Carol Service in St Machan’s Church on Sunday 10th December at 6.30p.m. Tea and coffee will be served after the service in the hall.  An invitation is extended to the whole congregation to join them for this service.

Rotary Club Thank You : On behalf of Lanarkshire Rotary, I should like to thank the church members for their kind donations of warm coats and jackets to this year’s Wrap Up Lanarkshire.
In the local area, the Rotary Clubs of Strathaven, Hamilton and Motherwell & Wishaw collected over 3,000 coats and jackets and distributed them to 23 different organisations and charities, including small local organisations, as well as clothing banks, Women’s Aid, Ukrainian support groups and children’s charities, refugees and lifelong learning centres. The figure across the whole of Lanarkshire is expected to top 7,000 coats. Once again, thank you for your most generous support. Your donations were very much appreciated by all those who received them. Callan Dick.

Christmas Pancake Morning Thank You - Thanks so much to everyone who helped set up and serve at the pancake morning on Friday 1st, and to all who came along and supported it. It was a great success. The total raised for Church funds was £390.70.

Flower Rota 💐 : A blank Flower Rota for January – June 2024 is now on the notice board in the Guild Room  and I am looking for your help in filling up the calendar. I am very grateful to those who already generously volunteer and hope you will continue to do so. We do need more volunteers though - the more there are the better. If you are able to take a turn, even if only for 1 Sunday, then please fill your name on the rota against the Sunday/s of your choice stating your preference as to supplying, delivering or both. By doing so you will help keep our Sanctuary beautiful on a Sunday morning but, more importantly, by delivering a bunch of flowers to those in our congregation and beyond in their time of greatest need or time of happy celebration you will be providing one of the most important pastoral care roles in the life of our Church. Thank you. Linda.

Save Your Stamps : Believe it or not there is still a place in today’s digital age for that good old fashioned habit of saving the stamps from the envelopes of your Christmas cards and letters. By donating your used stamps you will be helping raise money for various charities.  If you would like to do so, there is a box for used stamps on the window ledge in St Machan’s hall at the door to the kitchen and in the foyer of Chalmers.
