                                             INTIMATIONS 16th OCTOBER

Monday 17th October:  Indoor Bowls - The next session of the Men’s Club Indoor Bowls will meet tomorrow, Monday17th October at 1.30p.m. in the Church Hall. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Tuesday 18th October:  The next meeting of the Guild is Tuesday 18th October at 1.30p.m. in St Machan’s Church Hall.  The guest speaker is John Milligan speaking on The History of Larkhall. A very warm welcome is extended to all.

Wednesday 19th October: The Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service will meet this coming Wednesday 14th September. All will be made most welcome.

Prayer Service – 10.15 a.m.

Worship Service – 11.00 a.m.

Sunday 23rd October: Morning Worship will be held in St Machan’s at the usual time of 11a.m. when Holy Communion will be celebrated.

Wrap Up Lanarkshire – Rotary Clubs across Lanarkshire and indeed the whole of the UK are collecting donations of good quality coats and heavy jackets, which they will pass on to homeless shelters, refugee centres, organisations supporting the elderly, women’s refuges, children’s centres and other related charities helping people in crisis.  A box will be available at the rear of the Church for any donations received. Please note the closing date is 2 weeks today - Sunday 23rd October. Please note that they are unable to collect any items other than coats and heavy jackets.

Shoebox Appeal 2022:   The uplift date for the Shoeboxes from our area has only this week been confirmed and is Friday 28th October. All filled boxes will now need to be with us by next Sunday 23rd October or could be handed in and left in the hall whenever the halls are open throughout the following week - Monday 24th – Thursday 27th.

19th November: Larkhall Baptist Church are hosting a Women’s Conference - Seeds of Change - in the Baptist Church on Saturday 19th November starting at 10.30a.m.  Seeds of Change is run by a group of women passionate about supporting and growing in their faith in both the Church and the wider community.

Entry is free with a donation being asked on the day to MAF – Mission Aviation Fellowship. Refreshments will be provided but you are asked to bring your own lunch.
