Men’s Club : The Men’s Club will hold their AGM tomorrow Monday 28th March at 2.00p.m. in St Machan’s Hall. This will be followed by a talk on “The History and Development of the Pipe Organ” given by Hugh McGregor. A warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation and friends.
Guild Committee : A wee reminder that there will be a committee meeting this coming Tuesday, 29th March at 1.30p.m. in the Guild Room.
The Guild: The Guild are holding a fund raising event for Guild Projects on Tuesday 5th April at 1.30p.m. in St Machan’s Church Hall when Taylor Fashions will have a range of clothing to show and which will be available to buy. A warm invitation is extended to all to go along and give your support. Entry is £3.00 and refreshments will be served.
The Guild would like to thank all those who took part in their fun quiz. The splendid sum of £207.00 was raised for Guild Projects. I also have an exclusive announcement …. I have the name of the lucky winner and have the pleasure of announcing it right now. The winner of the afternoon tea for 2 at the Radstone is and I feel we should be having a drum roll or something ……Marion Sneddon.
Sunday 3rd April : Morning Worship will be held in St Machan’s Church at the usual time of 11a.m.
Retiral Offering : Following the retiral offering taken over the last 2 Sundays I am delighted to announce the magnificent total donated was £3,000. This included both the retiral offerings and contributions forwarded direct to Christian Aid by members. The retiral offering money has now been forwarded to Christian Aid who are part of the Ukrainian Disasters Appeal Committee. Many, many thanks to all who were able to contribute to this appeal.
