Session Meeting: The Kirk Session is called to meet on Thursday 3rd March at 7.00p.m. in the Sanctuary of St Machan’s Church. Minutes of the previous meeting have been issued by email and paper copies are now in the boxes of those elders not on line.
World Day of Prayer: The Larkhall Service for World Day of Prayer will be held this year in Larkhall New Parish Church on Friday 4th March at 2p.m. The Service has been prepared by Christian women of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Sunday 6th March: Morning Worship will be held in St Machan’s Church at the usual time of 11a.m.
The Guild: Due to Covid, the Guild have, over the last 2 years, been unable to carry out any ventures to raise much needed funds for the Guild Projects and to try to reverse this, two of the Guild Committee members have devised a fun quiz. A quiz sheet will be available to purchase at the very reasonable price of £1.00 today and over the next 2 Sundays. The sheets are at the exit doors. Please pick up one and deposit your £1.00 in the plate on your way out. The entries should be handed in by 20th March. The first all correct entry picked randomly, will be given a voucher for afternoon tea for 2 at the Radstone Hotel (prize donated). Your support for this venture will be greatly appreciated and will allow the important work done by the Guild Projects to continue.
Used Ink Cartridges: Did you know your empty printer ink cartridges could help us raise money? We can recover £1.00 for every used cartridge returned to a group called Recycle4Charity.co.uk. If you have a printer then please do keep the used cartridges and bring them along to Church. A box has been placed on the table inside the glass doors at the rear of the Church where they can be deposited. The folks at Chalmers have been doing this for some time and have raised £273.00 to date.
