Robert Allan
Treasurer Bob is a retired Accountant. Latterly Bob worked in the charity sector with the Church of Scotland based in their headquarters in Edinburgh where he looked after the finances of the General Trustees. Bob was first appointed Treasurer of St Machan’s in 1972 and apart from a five year gap in the 1980s has held that post ever since, He has also been Session Clerk since 1999. |
Alastair and Lorraine McKillop
Minister Alastair has been Minister at St Machan's since 2004. He started as an Engineer in the Iron Steel industry before studying at Glasgow Bible College and Glasgow University. Linda Turnbull Session Clerk and Convenor of Business Committee Linda is a retired Insurance Home Claims Adviser and has been a member of St Machan's Church for approximately 35 years, 25 of which as an Elder. Married to Frank they have a daughter and son, both of whom are married.
She and her husband are now grandparents to two little boys.
She has many interests and hobbies, some of which include water colour painting, playing badminton, walking, to name but a few |

Holly Hunter
Holly is our Safeguarding Co-ordinator and is also an Elder in our Church she has a passion for singing and is a member of the Church Praise Band. Holly is a support worker for children with learning disabilities, a job which can be demanding but hughely rewarding. |

Fiona
Fiona, St Machan's church organist, studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the RCS) at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has since had the privilege of working at Biggar High School, where she is Head of Faculty.
Fiona enjoys a busy performing schedule, working with a number of soloists and groups, including the Glasgow Youth Choir (senior section) and the Hamilton St John's Singers. In her spare time, she likes reading, walking, swimming and eating out. She and her husband are now very proud parents of baby Gabriel and the latest addition to the family, Luke.
