Freewill Offering Envelopes - if anyone who doesn't already subscribe to the FWO envelopes scheme wishes to do so for 2026, please get in touch with Mavis Law as soon as possible.
Flower Rota : A blank Flower Rota for January – June 2026 is now on the notice board in the Guild Room and I am looking for your help in filling up the calendar. I am very grateful to those who already generously volunteer and hope you will continue to do so. We do need more volunteers though - the more there are the better. If you are able to take a turn, even if only for 1 Sunday, then please fill your name on the rota against the Sunday/s of your choice. By volunteering, you will be providing a very important pastoral care roles in the life of our Church. Thank you. Linda.
Monday 24th November :
• Men’s Club – Indoor Bowls at the usual time of 1.30p.m. in the hall of Larkhall New, St Machan’s building. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation and friends to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
• Contact – Will meet on Monday at 7.00pm in St Machans Session Room. Our topic will be Fear or Faith and it would be great to see you there. This is our last Bible study for this session and our new session will be on the first Monday in March 2026.Thanks to all who have attended, it has been refreshing.
Tuesday 25th November :
• Coffee Morning ☕️ from 10am to 11.30a.m in Larkhall New – St Machan’s hall. All are welcome. Please come along and enjoy the coffee/tee and of course good fellowship.
• Friendship Circle - will meet in St Machan’s hall at 1.30 and will enjoy some fun with a quiz hosted by Margaret Martin. A warm welcome is extended to all.
Wednesday 19th November - Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service. Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall in Larkhall New - St Machan’s. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.
Worship service – 11a.m.
Friday 28th November : Friday Pancake Coffee Morning returns from 10am – 12 noon in St Machan’s hall. A very warm welcome is extended to everyone to drop in for a freshly made hot pancake and a cup of tea or coffee and please also bring along your friends and neighbours. The Pancake Mornings will be held on the last Friday of each month.
Sunday 30th November : Advent Gift Sunday will be held in St Machan’s at the usual time of 11a.m. If you are able to donate a gift, please leave your gifts unwrapped in either a Christmas bag or a carrier with a roll of Christmas paper. Gifts this year are again being distributed by The Larkhall Network Group. This group includes various local charities, volunteer groups, Social Work, Schools and Churches working for the community in Larkhall. The gifts will be delivered to the local schools in Larkhall for distribution to those families in most need.

Saturday 6th December :
• 2nd Larkhall Boys’ Brigade – Christmas Soup & Crusty Bread Lunch
The Boys’ Brigade will be hosting a Christmas Soup and Crusty Bread Lunch from 11a.m. – 2p.m. in Larkhall New Parish Church – St Machan’s Hall. There will be homemade soup, home baking, Christmas gifts and plenty of festive fun for everyone to enjoy.
Tickets are £4.00 for adults and £1.00 for children. These can be purchased from any Boys’ Brigade leader and will also be available at the door.
• Larkhall New Parish Church Annual Christmas Concert.
This is a joint concert, Men’s Club, Guild & Friendship Circle, and all proceeds will go to Church funds.
It will be held on Saturday 2nd December at 7:30pm in St Machan’s Sanctuary. This year the entertainment will be by the Hamilton Rock Choir and you, the audience, will have the chance to sing some favourite Christmas carols too.
Ticket price £5.00 includes refreshments. Children are free with an accompanying adult. Tickets are now available from Men’s Club, and Guild committee members. You can also pay at the door. Please come along for what promises to be a great evening.
