INTIMATIONS 10th MAY
Sunday 10th May a Joint Churches Prayer Gathering will be held in The Lighthouse, King Street at 3.00p.m. Join with fellow Christians from other local churches for an hour of inspiring worship. All are welcome.
Monday 11th May:
- Book Club – will meet at 10.30a.m. in Larkhall Library. The book being discussed this month is The Grantchester Mysteries by James Runcie. A warm invitation is extended to any book lovers to join us for some lively discussions.
- Contact Café - Contact is our bible study which will return on Monday 11th of May, 7.00 till 8.00pm, in our St Machan’s building. The format is a relaxed café style atmosphere where all can feel comfortable as we find out more about God, Jesus and his plans for us. All are welcome and you can bring a friend as no one will be put on the spot. Hope to see you there.
Tuesday 12th May: Coffee Morning ☕️ from 10am to 11.30a.m in Larkhall New – St Machan’s hall. All are welcome. Please come along and enjoy the coffee/tea and of course good fellowship.
Wednesday 13th May: Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service. Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall in Larkhall New - St Machan’s. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.
Worship service – 11a.m.
Friday 15th May: Prayer Meeting: Will be held in the small hall of Larkhall New – Chalmers building from 7.30 – 8.30p.m. A very warm invitation is extended to everyone, including your family, friends and neighbours to go along.
Sunday17th May -
- Morning Worship will be at the usual time of 11a.m. and will be held in our St Machan’s building.
- Christian Aid: There will be a retiral offering for Christian Aid. If you are able, please give Christian Aid your support to help them with their vital humanitarian work.
Advance Notice
Tuesday 26th May: The choir at Dalserf are starting rehearsals for the first Songs of Praise evening following the summer break. The Praise evening will be held on a Sunday evening at the end of September. The choir would like to extend an open invitation to Larkhall New members. No experience is needed and everyone is welcome regardless of singing experience. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays 7.30 to 9.00 pm in Dalserf Church beginning Tuesday 26th May. They will stop for the summer holidays on the 23rd June and recommence on Tuesday 18th August. Anyone who is interested in joining the choir for rehearsals, please see Linda Turnbull after the service or email me at fturn48880@aol.com.
Friday 5th June: Christian Aid - A Coffee Morning is being held on Friday 5th June (please note new date) in Larkhall New - St Machan’s hall from 10am to 12 noon, to which you are warmly invited. All proceeds will go directly to Christian Aid. Donations of home baking will be greatly appreciated. Please speak to Grace McGhee re baking donations.
