Are You a Church Member?
If you have been attending church and would like to find out about church membership, then you are welcome to attend an informal information evening on Monday 12th May, 7.00pm in the session room at our St Machan's building. FROM THE NURTURE TEAM
The Nurture Team have acquired 26 copies of the booklet "Try Praying". The booklet is similar in size to the "Our Daily Bread" booklet and has information and advice over a seven day period. The booklets are free and are available on the small table as you leave the church. Because we only have 26 copies they are on a first come first served basis.
We ask that once you have read the booklet that you bring it back to church and hand it to the person sitting beside you or in front or behind you or just leave it on the small table as you enter church and then for that person to do the same once they have read the booklet and so on.

Guild Outing : Due to a cancellation we now have three tickets available for the Guild outing on Tuesday 13th May. We will be going to the Falkirk Wheel then on to the Kelpies where we have a short tour (indoors). Following that we come back to The Moorings for a two course meal. Cost is £35.00.

VE Family Fun Day : To celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE day we are holding a family fun day on Saturday 3rd May at our Chalmers building between 12 and 3pm. Come along for some old-fashioned fun and games and off course your purvie bag. Tickets are £5 per adult and £1 per child and all children require to be accompanied by an adult. Monday 21st April: Men’s Club - Indoor Bowls will be held at the usual time of 1.30p.m. in the
hall of Larkhall New, St Machan’s building. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Wednesday 23rd April :
• Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall in St Machan’s. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.
Worship service – 11a.m.
• Praise and Prayer evening at 58 Hamilton Street. 7pm start with tea/coffee and a blether followed by praise, with Nan on the piano, and then a time of prayer. Home time is 8.30. You are welcome to join us. If you wish to know more give Jim or Nan a ring on 885815.
Friday 25th April : 🥞☕️ Friday Pancake Coffee Morning returns from 10am – 12 noon in Larkhall New - St Machan’s hall. A very warm welcome is extended to everyone to drop in for a freshly made hot pancake and a cup of tea or coffee and please also bring along your friends and neighbours. The Pancake Mornings are held on the last Friday of each month.
Saturday 26th April : First Aid Course – Larkhall New – Chalmers Hall from 9.30a.m. – 4.30p.m. Those attending the course, are reminded of the following:-
Attendees are required to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before it starts.
Photographic identification is required.
Attendees should be in possession of a Smart Phone or Tablet to enable registration on arrival and assessment during the course.
Lose clothing should be worn as there is a fair bit of activity during the session.
Sunday 28th April : Morning Worship will be held in Larkhall New – St Machan’s building at the usual time of 11a.m.
