1st Larkhall Girls' Brigade - Pancake Night
Thank you to everyone who came along to support our Pancake Night, it was a great way to spend a Tuesday night and we raised a brilliant £400 for Beatson Cancer Charity.
We hope you enjoyed your freshly made pancakes.

Monday 16th Feb: Men’s Club - Indoor Bowls will be held at the usual time of 1.30p.m. in the hall of Larkhall New,
St Machan’s building. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Tuesday 17th Feb: The Guild will meet at 1.30p.m. in St Machan’s building hall when they will enjoy an afternoon of entertainment provided by Christine and Alex Knox. A warm invitation is extended to all.
Wednesday 18th Feb –
- Wednesday Morning Prayer and Worship Service. Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall in Larkhall New - St Machan’s. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.
Worship service – 11a.m.
- Wednesday 18th Feb : 3rd Larkhall Girls’ Brigade – Beetle Drive – St Machan’s Building
The Girls’ Brigade are holding a Beetle Drive on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at 7pm in the hall. This is to raise funds to help subsidise their membership fees. Tickets are £3.00. Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided on the night. Come along for a few hours of fun.
Thursday 19th Feb: Alpha Course
Our Alpha course continues this Thursday in our St Machans building 7.00 till 8.30pm. All are welcome.
Friday 20th Feb – Prayer Meeting: Will be held in the small hall of Larkhall New – Chalmers building from 7.30 – 8.30p.m. A very warm invitation is extended to everyone, including your family, friends and neighbours to go along.
Sunday 22nd Feb:
- Morning Worship will be at the usual time of 11a.m. in Larkhall New – St Machan’s
Building and will include………….
- 1st Larkhall Girls' Brigade - Commissioning of New Leader
Cara, one of our young trainee leaders has successfully completed all her leadership training over many months of zoom calls and submission of written work. We are very proud of her and as a GB family will see Cara be formally commissioned as a leader on Sunday 22nd February during morning worship in our St Machan's building. We would love to see as many of our Church family and friends come along to support Cara on this day.
Without our leaders, who are all volunteers, our GB company would simply not exist. We look forward to celebrating this special day with you all.
ADVANCE NOTICE – Dates for your Diary
Friday 6th March: Prayer Course
The Nurture Team is running a Prayer Course starting Friday 6th March 2026. The course has 8 sessions lasting 1 hour and will take place in the St Machans building on a Friday afternoon starting at 2pm. The course is based on the Lord’s Prayer which is a route map to praying in general. It is hoped that the course will encourage members of the congregation to think about how they pray and the meaning and benefits of prayer.
Wednesday 6th May: The Guild Outing this year will be "A Grand Day Out" Going to the Thistle Centre, Stirling followed by a steak pie lunch and entertainment in Bannockburn. The date is Wednesday, 6th May. Cost £35.00
