Guild Summer Outing : The bus for the Guild outing to Largs on Saturday 31st August will leave from the front of the church at 11am prompt.
Wednesday Prayer & Worship Service : This has now resumed after the summer break. Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall. Everyone will be made most welcome.
Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.
Worship Service – 11.00a.m.
Organ Recital : On Sunday 1st September at 4.30p.m, friends of Bothwell Parish Church are hosting an organ recital by Peter Shepherd, the organist and musical director of the Church. From 2013 – 16 he was organ scholar at Merton College, Oxford and is an outstanding musician. The recital will include the work of Louis Vierne, Herbert Howells and Francois Couperin. Entrance cost is £8.00/£5.00 students. A poster with more information is on the notice board in the large hall.
Book Club : The book Club resumes on Monday 2nd September at 14 Saltire Crescent, at 10.30a.m. The book being discussed is “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman. Anyone wishing to come along to the Book Club will be made most welcome.
Stewardship Evening : You are invited to a Stewardship Evening on Thursday 5th September at 7.30p.m. in the Church. The evening will take the form of entertainment by some of our own talented members and a short talk on our financial situation and our giving. Tea, coffee, pancakes and biscuits will be served and the Praise Band will complete the evening’s entertainment. We look forward to having your company. Please do come along and give your support to our entertainers.
Christian Aid Sponsored Walk : Be a force for change this Harvest and join Christian Aid’s sponsored walk “The Power Walk” with members of Hamilton Presbytery. The event takes place on Saturday 14th September 2020 at the Whitelees Windfarm, Eaglesham G76 0QQ, starting at 10.30am. There are a choice of two distances and people can walk or cycle. A poster is now on the hall notice board with details of the website to obtain sponsor forms, times etc.
