  INTIMATIONS   19th January 2020

 

Men’s Club  - Monday 20th January : The next session of Indoor Bowls will meet tomorrow,  Monday 20th January at 1.30p.m. in the Church Hall. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

 

The Guild - Tuesday 21st January : The meeting will begin at 7.30p.m. in the hall when the topic for the evening will be about the Guild Project – Sailors Society.

A warm invitation is extended to all to join this lively group and enjoy an evening of interest and fellowship.

 

Wednesday Morning Healing Prayer Group and Worship Service : Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Wednesday of the month. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.

Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.

Worship Service – 11.00a.m.

 

Joint Service  - Sunday 26th January : Our brothers and sisters from Chalmers will be joining us here in St Machan’s for a joint service at the usual time of 11a.m.

 

Treasurers of Organisations : are reminded that they should submit their audited annual accounts to Bob Allan by Sunday 26th January at the latest.

 

Kirk Session Meeting – Thursday 30th January : The meeting will take place in the Session House, starting at 7.00p.m.  Minutes of the previous meeting have now been emailed to elders with paper copies for those not on line, in the relevant boxes in the Guild room.

 

Saturday 1st February : Scottish Bible Society  Concert to support—The Bread of Life-Children at Risk in Lima, Peru.

The Scottish Bible Society- Motherwell Action Group- are organising a fundraising concert on Saturday 1st February 2020 in Crosshill Parish Church, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell at 7.p.m.  The Concert features the Studio 32 Theatre Company, which aims to produce quality entertaining theatre across a wide range of styles. Studio32 was the first group to perform in the East Kilbride Arts Centre when it opened in 1994 and has established itself as one of the most productive, professional and fun theatre companies in East Kilbride.

The concert will raise funds in support of the project "The Bread of Life- Children at Risk", which links with the Bible Society of Peru and aims to contribute to the integral development, nutritional and spiritual, of poor children who live in rural communities of Peru. Nutritious breakfasts, snacks and lunches will be provided and scriptures and teaching of the Bible will be given to these children in their own language.
