              INTIMATIONS   17th November

 

 

Men’s Club : The next session of Indoor Bowls will meet tomorrow,  Monday 18th October at 1.30p.m. in the Church Hall. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship. There is no joining fee, just a small donation to help with tea/coffee costs.

 

The Guild : The next meeting of the Guild will take the form of an “Open Night” on Tuesday 19th November at 7.30p.m.  “Taylor Fashion” will have a selection of ladies’ wear for sale. Please come along and treat yourself to something nice or do some early Christmas shopping. Tickets, priced £3.00, can be bought from any Guild committee member, or pay at the door. Price includes tea/coffee and home baking. 

 

Wednesday Morning Healing Prayer Group and Worship Service : Services are held every Wednesday morning in the small hall. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Wednesday of the month. A warm invitation is extended to everyone. You will be made most welcome.

Prayer Service – 10.15a.m.

Worship Service – 11.00a.m.

 

Session Meeting : The Session are called to meet on Thursday 21st November at 7.00p.m. in the Session House.  The minutes of the previous meeting have now been emailed to elders and, for those not on line, a paper copy can be found in the relevant elder boxes in the Guild room.

 

Genesis Coffee Morning : Genesis Youth Group are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 23rd November from 10a.m. – 12 noon. Tickets, priced £2.00, can be purchased from Graham Preston, Alexis and Janette McDonald or pay at the door. Donations of home baking will be most welcome and gratefully received. These can be left in the kitchen on Friday morning 22nd or handed in before 10 on the Saturday morning.  A warm welcome is extended to everyone to come along and support Genesis to raise funds for the group.

 

Sunday 24th November : Morning Worship will be a Rededication Family service for the Girls’ and Boy’s Brigade.

 

Sunday 1st December – Advent Sunday Communion and Gift Sunday : Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday 1st December. Elders Communion duty rotas are now available in the boxes in the Guild room. If you have a duty and are unable to fulfil it, then please arrange your replacement.

This Sunday is also our Gift Day and, if you are able to donate a gift, these will be much appreciated by those in our County who receive little or no gifts at Christmas. Please note, if using paper, do not wrap up your gift but include a sheet of paper separately. If using a gift bag, please leave it open.
