On the return journey a stop for afternoon tea will be made at Cornhill House. The bus will leave from the front of the Church at 11a.m. and will return to Larkhall around 7.00p.m. The cost for the day is £18 which includes the cost of the minibus hire and afternoon tea at Cornhill House.

St Andrew’s Hospice : The Hospice is celebrating the first anniversary of their newly refurbished premises. To mark the occasion and give you an update on their Appeal, an invitation is extended to all to visit the Hospice and have some tea with them on Tuesday 30th April at 11a.m. If anyone would like to take up this kind invitation, please give your name to Linda Turnbull as they need to have an idea of numbers.

Flower Rota : Spring is not over and summer hasn’t arrived (and hopefully it will) but I’m sorry to say it’s time to be thinking about the second half of the year. A blank Flower Rota for July – December is now on the notice board in the Guild Room. As always, your help is needed in filling up the calendar which will enable us to continue providing this very important Pastoral Care role in our Church. I am very grateful to those who already generously volunteer and hope many of our existing band of helpers will continue to do so. However, more volunteers - the more there are the better – would be much appreciated. If you are able to take a turn then please fill your name on the rota against the Sunday/s of your choice stating your preference as to supplying, delivering or both. For more information on what is involved please speak to Linda Turnbull. Thank you.

Christian Aid Bridge Cross Challenge : Help us bridge the poverty gap at the Bridge Cross Challenge on Saturday 11 May and celebrate the launch of Christian Aid Week. Join our family-friendly sponsored walk across some of the UK’s most historic bridges. For over 30 years, Christian Aid supporters have raised over £1.5million for the world’s poorest people by walking the Tay, Erskine and Forth Bridges.

With every step, every bridge crossed, every one of us can help save lives. Sign up today and take on your own Bridge Cross Challenge
