      INTIMATIONS   1st September

 

 

Book Club : The book Club resumes on Monday 2nd September at 14 Saltire Crescent, at 10.30a.m. The book being discussed is “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman. Anyone wishing to come along to the Book Club will be made most welcome.

 

Men’s Club : The new session of Indoor Bowls begins on Monday 2nd September at 1.30p.m. in the Church Hall. A Warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship. There is no joining fee, just a small donation to help with tea/coffee costs.

 

Stewardship Evening : You are invited to a Stewardship Evening on Thursday 5th September at 7.30p.m. in the Church. The evening will take the form of entertainment by some of our own talented members and a short talk on our financial situation and our giving. Tea, coffee, pancakes and biscuits will be served and the Praise Band will complete the evening’s entertainment.  We look forward to having your company. Please do come along and give your support to our entertainers.

Elders are reminded that the reply slips for the Stewardship Evening should be returned to any member of the Finance Committee by today, Sunday 1st Sept.

 

Friday Morning Coffee Group : Once again, the aroma of freshly baked pancakes will tickle your taste buds when The Friday Morning Coffee Group resumes this coming Friday 6th September at the usual time of 10 a.m. As always, the members are looking forward to seeing both old and new customers. If there are any Ladies or Gentlemen who could spare a couple of hours on a Friday once a month, please speak to Anne Hynd.

 

Dalserf Church are having an open day this coming Saturday, 7th September from 11.30a.m. – 3.00p.m. There will be tea/coffee, home baking and all the usual stalls.

If you are out and about on Saturday, please drop in and enjoy a cuppa and a chat.

 

Guild Big Quiz : This event is being promoted by the Church of Scotland Guild and each Guild throughout Scotland has been encouraged to host a Big Quiz.
