Glasgow Lodging House Mission Thank You : A lovely thank you letter has been received from the Lodging House Mission stating Thanks to the generosity of Churches, such as ours, they are able to make a positive difference to the lives of those they support. People who are often living chaotic lives with multiple complex needs. The provision of vital sustenance 7 days a week by way of a healthy breakfast and lunch is often the gateway to extending Christian companionship, care and compassion. Their day centre offers shelter to between 90-120 individuals daily who know they will not be judged and can always find a friendly word. In recognition and gratitude for our harvest donation and faithful support of the work of the lodging house mission they have sent a certificate of appreciation and I will put it on the notice board in the hall for everyone to see
