INTIMATIONS   31st March

 

Guild Coffee Morning Update : Following last Saturday’s Guild Coffee morning and book sale the excellent sum of £457.95 was raised. The committee would like to thank everyone for donations of baking and for supporting the Guild and making it such a success.

 

Book Club :  The Book club will meet Monday 1st April at 14 Saltire Crescent at 10.30p.m.  The book being discussed this month is “The Grapes of Wrath” by John Steinbeck. A warm invitation is extended to any book lovers to join us for some lively discussions.

 

Men’s Club - Bowling : The next meeting of the Men’s Bowling Club will be Monday 1st April at 1.30p.m. in the hall. A warm invitation is extended to all men of the congregation and friends to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and good fellowship.

 

Community Support Services – MacMillan in Lanarkshire : A “Drop in Centre” for one on one consultation and support for those living with and beyond cancer will commence Thursday 4th April in Crossford Village Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Going forward, this will be held on the first Thursday of every month except July, August and January. Please refer to the poster on the notice board in the hall for more information.

 

Stated Annual Meeting : This will take place following Morning Worship on Sunday 7th April, and will take no more than half an hour. Tea & coffee will be served in the Church on that day. A warm invitation is extended to all members of the congregation to wait behind for this short time when you will have the opportunity of hearing just what happens to and where the money we give goes.

 

Men’s Club : There will be a committee meeting on Monday 8th April at 7.00p.m. in the Guild Room.

 

Ten Pin Bowling Evening : The Vision & Mission Committee are organising a Ten Pin Bowling Evening on Friday 12th April at 7.00pm and all are welcome to attend. The event will take place at the Cosmic Bowl at M&D’s in Strathclyde Park. This is a social evening and we have invited the folk from Trinity, Chalmers and the Baptist Churches to share in our evening. The cost is £10.00 if you want to play and nothing if you want to cheer! We would be delighted if you could invite friends and family to attend this fun event. If you would like to attend, please put your name on the form in the resource centre at the back of the church or if you require further information please contact Graham Duncan.

Palm Sunday – 14th April – Morning Worship will be conducted by Jim Richardson

Wednesday 17th April @ 7.30 p.m. – Service at Trinity Church

Thursday 18th April @ 7.30 p.m. – Maunday Thursday Communion Service at St Machan’s

Good Friday 19th April :-  12 noon - Silent Witness – St Machan’s Church Grounds

                                              7.30 p.m. - Evening Service – Baptist Church
